Admission procedure E-mail

We hope that this information will help you assist students throughout the college selection and application process. Here you will find our application as well as information about our admissions and financial aid policies, timelines, requirements, and the many resources and opportunities at BSMU.


Admission to undergraduate and post graduate courses are open for all foreign students, who are fulfilling the eligibility criteria of BSMU and of the respective country, from 1st July to 1st October of every year.

Application and Registration-
Prospectus along with application form can be obtained from web site or from authorized representative of respective country to which the candidate belongs.
The dully filled up forms along with the attested photocopies of required documents shall be submitted through the concerned representative of the country to BSMU.
Admission will be confirmed only after counseling/screening of the documents/application form of candidate and the approval of the Authorized Representative of BSMU.
Note: No admissions will be entertained through unauthorized persons or agents.

Documents-
The following documents are to be furnished along with application form for the admission in
Undergraduate course:-

  1. Matriculation certificate(10th Class), showing the date of birth.
  2. Certificate and mark-sheet of Intermediate (10+2 or equivalent class).
    Note: Minimum 50% of Marks are required as an eligibility criteria of MCI.
  3. Six passport size photographs.
  4. Photocopy of Passport (if ready).
  5. Medical Certificate with HIV test report from the recognized government hospital/pathological lab/clinic.
  6. Eligibility Certificate of Medical Council of concerned country.

The following documents are to be furnished along with application form for the admission in
Postgraduate course:-

  1. 10 Class Pass Certificate.
  2. Attested photocopy of Certificate and mark sheet of MBBS or equivalent exam.
  3. Medical Council Registration Certificate.
  4. Six passport size photographs.
  5. Photocopy of Passport (if ready).
  6. Medical Certificate with HIV test report from the recognized government hospital/ pathological lab/clinic.
Eligibility
  • Undergraduate course (for Indian Students ) : As per the part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of India, extra-ordinary issue dated 18.02.2002, an Indian citizen desirous of joining an undergraduate medical course in any foreign medical institution on or after 15th March 2002 shall have Eligibility Certificate issued by Medical Council of India, New Delhi. India. To get the Eligibility certificate a candidate shall be passed 10+2 or equivalent class (biology, physics, chemistry with minimum 50% marks) from a recognized college.
  • For others : as per the rules of concerned country.
  • Post graduate course : Graduation in Medical and one year internship from recognized college/university/institution by the Government of concerned country.
Visa
As per the law of Ukrainian Government the student visa is issued by visa section of Embassy of Ukraine only during 15th August to 15th November. The official invitation for studies in Ukraine is provided by BSMU on the basis of which Ukraine Embassy issue visa to travel Ukraine.Authorised Representative of BSMU will provide the guidance and support for visa processing.
Note: The issuing/refusal of Ukrainian visa to the candidate is the sole right of Visa section of Embassy of Ukraine (Ministry of External Affairs of Ukraine). In case of refusal of visa the University or its representatives are not responsible in any way.

Legalization & Translation of Documents
The following documents are to be legalized by the Ministry of Education & Ministry of Foreign Affairs of concerned country and there after they shall be translated into Russian language by the authorized translator of Embassy of Ukraine:
  • Original Certificate & mark sheet of 10th class.
  • Original Certificate & mark sheet of 10+2 or equivalent class.
  • Original Degree of MBBS or equivalent (in case of PG candidates only)

Then the Embassy of Ukraine legalize the translated version of these documents, which are to be shown in BSMU along with the legalized original documents at the time of registration.

Receiving of Students in Ukraine
Each group of students is received by the Official Representative of BSMU at the airport. According to Ukrainian laws, all incoming invited foreign students must be received at the place of arrival in Ukraine by the official representative of University.
